WHY
I am so glad you are here. Steadfast Learning is a dream born out of a passion for teaching. I teach to provide a safe space for students, to encourage them towards growth they can see and feel, and to prepare them for success not only in school but also out in the world. I get to know your students and the things they love so that we can keep instruction driven by their interests. At Steadfast Learning, I firmly believe that students will not learn in a space they do not feel valued and creating that kind of space has never failed to lead my students to joy and pride in their learning.

About Me
I am a current 7th year teacher in the state of North Carolina and have experience with a wide range of grade levels spanning K-6. I hold both a Bachelor's degree from Western Washington University and a Master's Degree from Western Governors University. On top of that I have also received my National Boards Certification.
I am passionate about student success and aim to work with your family to create learning experiences and targeted practice to guide your student towards mastery of content and grade level standards. Steadfast Learning is a dream I made reality in 2022 alongside teaching in the local school district.
My teaching approach consists of getting to know your student's unique needs and learning style in order to best create learning experiences that will benefit and increase their understanding. No two sessions are the same as I create and utilize resources specific to the goals and needs of your child.
